Get ready for our children’s concert in May!

We’re excited to let you know we’re putting on another free concert for children, following the success of last year’s event.
Children will have the chance to listen to some amazing music, meet the players and their instruments, and have a go at conducting the orchestra.
This year, we’re thrilled to announce we’re performing the world premiere of ‘Ignition’ by Ben Morales Frost. Written especially for the LCO, this four-minute piece embarks on a whistle-stop tour of each section and every instrument. It’s a tantalising introduction to the orchestra for young listeners who’ve never experienced live concert music before.

Tickets are free, but booking is essential so we can manage numbers in the church.
Welcome to London City Orchestra
The London City Orchestra was formed in January 2013, and since then has worked itself to the foreground of the classical music scene in London. Run by a Board of Trustees and its elected Committee, the orchestra’s mission is to nurture aspiring musicians and non-professional music making throughout London, the Southeast and the UK.
The orchestra performs a minimum of three concerts per season, and rehearses weekly on Mondays from 7pm - 9.30pm, in the City of London.
